Time for prints or Time for images on CD should be considered the same as normal work and the model should ensure she is NOT passing off copyright of her image without careful consideration. Many established film stars and celebs today are haunted by their modelling days from the past and early pictures where they naively lost copyright on. We encourage models to present our TFP release form to photographers. If they will not work to this or something similar, ask yourself: why? TFP is about 2 people giving their time up to produce something together. A model is as skilled as a photographer no matter what some photographers might tell you. Beauty, willingness, enthusiasm, body-care, self-image awareness, self-make-up, charm, mystique, figure, symmetry: these are all inherent or acquired skills of good models. If a photographer will not work to this form (many won't!!), insist the following line is added to their TFP form or find another photographer who is fair and is willing to include the line in his/her tfp form. Remember, by law, all photos are the natural right of the photographer unless you set up an agreement with him... hence a TFP arrangement form and agreement: which should work both ways! "All photos taken during this TFP session/shoot are copyright of both the photographer and the model - independently. " You might wish to limit where the tfp pics are seen: they might not just end up in both your portfolios! If you don't want your pics seen outside both your portfolios, check the photographer agrees too, and write it into the tfp release: "All photos taken during this TFP session/shoot may only be used to promote either party's portfolio or advertising and must not be licensed or sold to third parties."
